Stephen Anderson, a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Rock Coast Media, has been deeply involved in Search Engine Marketing since 2000. An accomplished sales executive, Anderson has designed and managed search campaigns for companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500.
Prior to launching Rock Coast Media, Stephen was the Director of Sales at a leading Search Engine Marketing firm, Fathom Online. At Fathom, Anderson helped build the company from the ground up while implementing successful paid listings campaigns for leading brands across a wide range of industries such as telecomm, finance, insurance, retail and pharmaceuticals.
Anderson joined the front lines of the Internet industry and search marketing in 2000 at Ask Jeeves . During his tenure at Jeeves, he created high performing search campaigns for clients such as Travelocity, Nationwide Insurance and American Airlines. Stephen first entered the internet in 1998 at Sapient Corporation working on web site integration projects such as Sallie Mae and Chase Brokerage.
Anderson earned a BA in Sociology from Middlebury College where he was the NCAA Division I Alpine Ski Team Captain. He has received numerous awards for his search marketing expertise and performance. An avid outdoorsman, Stephen can usually be found surfing, cycling or skiing when not at the office.

Rock Coast Media co-founders, Stephen Anderson and Josh Pike, have known each other since childhood. They came to be friends while alpine ski racing in the mountains of Maine.
